Character: Kudo Himiko
Series/Source Material: Getbackers [anime]

All questions, complaints or suggestions go here! Any help you can give me to play this character correctly is greatly appreciated!

General Info: Himiko is taken mostly from the anime version of the series Getbackers. She is a transporter whose brother was accidentally killed by Ban, for which she bears no small amount of resentment to her former friend. Her skill is in making perfumes, or 'catalysts' that spark serious changes in anyone breathing them. Her perfumes include ones for Speed, Flame, Regression, Corrosion, Puppetry, and a Paralysis perfume. While young, Himiko has made a name for herself in the underground world, often resulting with her being partnered with Kurodou Akabane, one of the best transporters in the business.

Currently, Himiko has been effected by a 'wish' that removed the 'curse' of her 'black blood' - removing both her powers and the threats on her life resulting from her status as one of the Last Children. Yet with out her powers Himiko's body has begun to reject itself, giving her symptoms of severe anemia.

Himiko is fixing her bike in the garage/room of her appartment. There is music blaring on her speakers and her costume is completely covered in grease. After a few minutes, the scenery starts to warp; the bike remains the same but somehow becomes shiny-er and the room smaller. Himiko doesn't seem to notice; she just keeps working.

Then a door opens and Dayran glances in, saying something in a teasing tone of voice. She flicks oil at him, marring his costume. But instead of snapping at her, he merely tugs the shirt off and throws it at her.

She ducks, blushing furiously, then drops the wrench she's been using. The clang echos throughout the dream, starting her back to reality. Dayran is gone, the bike is back to normal...

but she's still blushing.

Current Mood: embarrassed

The feed shows the workroom in Himiko's appartment. Its a mess, as always, plants and perfumes scattered around her "lab". A window looks out on the Limitless Fortress and there is a quiet drone of bees from the hives on her roof.

Himiko can be seen in the corner of the room wearing her Transporters uniform. Her hands have been bound with bandages, a necessity as she is beating on her hanging punching bag. There is a rhythmic thump thump thump as her hands and feet smack the thick cloth. After around fifteen minutes of non-stop, high-velocity battle with the bag she collapses backwards onto the floor, her hair sweaty and her knuckles bleeding slightly.

For the first time her face can be seen. It looks like she's been crying.

She squeezes her eyes shut, then glances at a picture frame on her desk. "Well, brother. Is he right? Is this all just an 'excuse'?" She sits up and buries her face in her knees. "Should I just give up and be some goodie-little-two-shoes and leave everything and everyone I care about behind?" A pause, and then she laughs sadly. "Who am I kidding. I'd much rather bust a felon out of prison than say that Bio-Net is right. Let the rest of the world be 'normal'."

Current Mood: angry

Himiko sat in the Honky Tonk, sipping coffee and waiting for any one of her numerous tutors to appear. The skinny woman lounged in one of the booths, watching the door, surrounded by various last minute study guides.

The man behind the counter would smile at anyone who would walk through that door. After all, Himiko generally brought in paying customers and kept up on her tab, unlike his most loyal - and broke - patrons, Ginji and Ban.

Himiko has come down with Anemia as a result of loosing her powers.
